During my Bachelor’s degree, I never moved away from my hometown. I studied and lived where I grew up. But as I grew personally and outgrew certain parts of my old life, I realized I needed something new. Something bigger. During a semester break, I took a two-week solo language trip to London. Why London? Hard to explain…I’ve always felt drawn to it, even though I’d never been before. So I went, alone, and what can I say? I fell in love.

In those two weeks, I felt like the city was mine. I met the most wonderful people, found myself in a little girls’ group, and experienced London in a way that felt instantly right. Back in my everyday life, I couldn’t forget the feeling. London didn’t just feels like a place I visited. It felt like a place I was meant to return to. So when it came time to choose a Master’s program, the decision felt natural. I applied, got accepted – and now, I’m finally coming back to the city that already feels a little bit like home..
